MemoMeds Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026 · MemoMeds is published by Putnam Consulting, LLC (“we”).
The short version
MemoMeds keeps your medication list, schedule and dose history only on your phone. There is no account and no sign-in. We do not collect, store, sell or share your health information, and the app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking.
What stays on your phone
- Your medications, dosages, schedules, reminder times, dose history, injection sites, refill counts and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device.
- Reminders are scheduled locally by your iPhone. They are not sent through any server.
- If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it. Use Import/Export → Full backup to keep a copy.
When the app goes online
- Drug name look-up. When you type or describe a medication name, the app sends the name you typed to free U.S. government services run by the National Library of Medicine (clinicaltables.nlm.nih.gov and rxnav.nlm.nih.gov) to suggest and check spellings. Only the text of the name is sent — not your schedule, history or anything that identifies you. The app also briefly contacts the same service to check whether you are online. These services are governed by the NLM's own policies.
- App updates. The app checks Expo's update service (expo.dev) for improvements to the app. This check sends technical information such as the app version and device platform, never your medication information.
Nothing else leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.
Files you choose to share
A Full backup or a Medical record (FHIR) export is created only when you ask for it, and goes only where you send it (for example Files, AirDrop or email). Those copies are then under your control and the privacy terms of wherever you save or send them.
Children
MemoMeds is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children.
Medical disclaimer
MemoMeds is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It does not give medical advice and does not replace your doctor or pharmacist. Always follow your prescriber's instructions.
